Options GEX Levels 2.0.5

Options GEX Levels plots important options-based levels on NinjaTrader 8 futures charts, highlighting where price may react.

Product details

Options GEX Levels turns the options chain into a practical map of important price areas:

- Net GEX Walls (C1/P1): the strongest call and put zones. Price may pause or reject near them.
- Gamma Flip / Structural Flip: areas where market behavior may change. A crossing can signal a new market regime, but not necessarily a reversal.
- Expected Move High/Low: the upper and lower edges of the range priced by the options market. Price often reacts near these boundaries.
- Max Pain: an expiration balance level that may attract price closer to expiration, but is not a guaranteed target.
- HVL, cTrans and pTrans: the strongest Gamma Node and nearby call and put transition zones.
- CV/nCV and PV/nPV: strikes with the highest call and put volume during the session. They show concentration of activity, not direction.
- AbOI: the strike with the largest open interest, highlighting a major position concentration.
- D25/D16, Delta Neutral and OI Change: additional range boundaries, the options chain’s balance point, and strikes where open interest recently increased the most.
- Projected EOD Levels: where the main walls and Gamma Flip may shift by the cash close if only time passes. These are reference levels, not price targets.

Gamma Nodes show where call and put exposure is concentrated at individual strikes. Large nodes matter because dealers may adjust their hedges as price approaches or crosses these areas. This activity can slow price, cause a pause or rejection, hold price near a level, or help accelerate a move.

The indicator also displays Gamma Nodes from previous sessions, making it easier to see which areas remain important over time. It does not see actual dealer positions, so the levels should be used as market context rather than guaranteed reactions or automatic trade signals.
